WHAT IS AN ACTS MISSIONS CHAPTER?

The ACTS MISSIONS-AUSTIN CHAPTER is the diocesan assigned legal representative of ACTS Missions World Headquarters based in San Antonio, Texas. The Chapter operates in the Austin diocese in full cooperation and under the direction and blessing of Bishop Vasquez in fulfilling diocesan goals in respect to evangelization. Our Chapter’s primary goal is to maintain the integrity of the ACTS retreat; simple, reverent and Catholic. Our ongoing role is to serve, oversee and provide direction for all ACTS Cores in the diocese and all Parishes participating in the ACTS retreat. In addition, our Chapter serves as an educational and evangelization resource for all ACTS Parishes. Frequent training workshops as well as an annual town hall are held periodically. We strive for regular and frequent communication with all Parish Cores and have assigned Chapter representatives for each Core team. We encourage anyone wishing to find out more about our Chapter and ACTS in general to please reach out to us for more information.
